Big Bear Mining Corp Announces Up to 63.1 Gram Per Tonne Gold from Surface Sampling on Lewiston Project in Fremont County, Wyoming

Denver, CO – April 12, 2012 – Big Bear Mining Corp (OTCBB: BGBR), a U.S.-based company focused on the acquisition and development of gold and other precious metal projects, today announced positive results from surface sampling on the Lewiston Project in Fremont County, Wyoming. The Lewiston property is an Archean greenstone hosted lode gold district. A total of 62 samples were collected, 48 grab samples from prospect pits and mine dumps, and 14 measured panel samples across mineralized shear zones. Fifteen (15) samples ranged from 1.0 gpt (grams per tonne) Au to 23.1 gpt Au and one contained 63.1 gpt Au. Selected highlights include:

Hematite altered meta-graywacke containing quartz stringers from historical workings at the Hidden Hand Mine returned 63.1 gpt Au. Additional grab samples from adjacent prospect pits returned 0.558 gpt, 1.43 gpt and 2.16 gpt Au.

Surface grab samples from a shear zone on the Wolf prospect ranged as high as 13.45 gpt gold, with 11 additional samples that averaged 2.4 gpt gold.

Sampling at the Burr mine over four feet produced 19.9 gpt gold with a separate 18-inch sample producing 23.1 gpt gold. Samples were taken across an exposed shear zone containing quartz stringers and pods and are believed to be representative of the true width of the shear zone.

Four samples collected from three prospect pits (the “Copper Pits”) contained from 0.38 gpt Au to 5.68 gpt Au and from 0.30 % Cu to 1.81 % Cu. Samples were taken over a wide spaced area (4,400 ft.) from prospect pits on quartz vein-bearing structures.

“These positive results underscore the tremendous potential of the Lewiston Project and support our plans to commence drilling later this year,” said James Baughman, president and CEO of Big Bear Mining. “We plan to initially focus our drilling on the Wolf prospect, where a 25 foot wide shear zone has been identified and where we believe that we’ll benefit from a solid, historical body of sampling data dating back to the 1970s.”

Sampling was performed under the supervision of James Baughman, Wyoming Registered Geologist. Big Bear utilized best practices Quality Assurance/Quality Control procedures by inserting standards, blanks, and duplicating results. Samples were secured until delivery to ALS Chemex. Analysis for gold was by fire assay with AA finish (Au-AA24, 50 g) and 33 additional elements by ICP (ME-ICP61).

The Lewiston Mining District is host to undrilled, high-grade gold veins that occur over a six-mile shear zone that has 32 historical shafts and adits and more than 177 prospect pits. Big Bear Mining has an option to acquire 100% ownership in 175 unpatented claims and three patented claims as well as eight patented claims and 10 unpatented claims under lease. Terms of the four-year earn-in are $200,000 in cash, 1.1 million shares of Big Bear Mining common stock, and $1.0 million in exploration expenditures. There is a NSR (Net Smelter Royalty) tied to gold prices and capped at 5%.

Big Bear Mining Corp Releases Results from Initial Drilling Program at the Barlow Gap Project Rattlesnake Hills, Natrona County, Wyoming

Tempe, AZ – March 8, 2011 - Big Bear Mining Corp (OTC Bulletin Board: BGBR), a U.S. based exploration company focused on the acquisition and exploration of gold and other precious commodity projects, is pleased to announce initial drill results from its 2010 exploration initiative in the Rattlesnake Hills, Wyoming. Big Bear’s Rattlesnake Hills properties cover geologic settings analogous to those hosting gold, Au, mineralization on the adjacent advanced program of Evolving Gold (EVG). The Big Bear claim blocks cover approximately 9,000 acres encompassing several Eocene-aged intrusives of the Rattlesnake Hills Volcanic Complex (RHVC). The RHVC is part of the Rocky Mountain Alkaline Gold Province that extends from New Mexico to Montana. World class and less significant past-producing alkaline-associated gold deposits that are part of this province include, among others, the famous Cripple Creek Mining District in Colorado (~27 million ounces of continual gold production from 1880’s to the present, plus ~ 20-million ounce existing low-grade Au resource) . Alkaline gold deposits often occur in groups or districts such as those deposits discovered in Little Rocky Mountain MT, Black Hills, SD, and Cripple Creek, CO. Exploration programs in alkaline volcanic complexes are currently being conducted by Newmont in the Bear Lodge Complex in NE Wyoming and by Evolving Gold on lands adjacent to the Big Bear Dry Creek claims which are located approximately seven miles northeast of the 2010 drilling at the Barlow Gap project. On the Barlow Gap claim block, Big Bear drilled five late-season core holes (3,500 ft.) to test silicified zones associated with structures within and along contacts of the central quartz latite porphyry intrusion and embedded breccia pipe. Four of the five holes tested silicified zones found to be geochemically anomalous from surface rock chip samples in silver, Ag, (33 samples from 1.0 ppm to 7.7 ppm and nine sample s from 9.8 ppm to 58.3 ppm) and trace Au (seven samples from 20 ppb to 35 ppb and four samples from 63 ppb to 95 ppb). BG 2010 Drill Holes

Samples (815) were collected from intervals containing carbonate and lesser quartz veining +/- pyrite. No significant Au mineralized intervals were intercepted; the highest sample returned 295 ppb Au over 2.9 ft. (BG-4, 911.6 -914 ft.). Silver was greater than 1.0 ppm in 48 sample intervals including 128 ppm Ag over 0.3 ft.(BG-3 891.5 ft. – 891.8 ft.), 4.0 ft. of 10.5 ppm Ag (BG-7 890 ft. – 894 ft.) and 5.0 ft. containing 15.9 ppm Ag (BG-7 903 ft. – 908 ft. EOH). Big Bear geologists note that what appears to be a large epithermal system with significant alteration and multiple near surface Ag anomalies could contain a hidden or as not yet sampled Au component. Future exploration at the BG Project will focus on the easterly trending structural zone intercepted in BG-7, newly recognized structures delineated from a ground magnetics survey, and the breccia pipes. CEO Steve Rix, states “We want to remind our shareholders that the drilling process is a methodical search for clues to help determine if the claims upon which the work is being done, warrant more attention. While no significant Au showings exist, we are encouraged that the data we have received from this preliminary late season campaign have yielded notable Ag numbers and additional geological data demanding the continued exploration of the Barlow Gap claim blocks through more drilling this year”. About Big Bear Mining Corp: Big Bear Mining Corp. is a US based exploration and development company, focused on the acquisition and development of Gold and other precious commodity projects which demonstrate high probability for near term production.
Big Bear Mining Announces Completion of Initial BG Project Drill Holes and Reports Positive Results from 2010 Rattlesnake Hills Exploration Surface & Drill Programs

Tempe, AZ – January 21, 2011 - Big Bear Mining Corp (OTC Bulletin Board: BGBR.ob – News) ("The Company") ("BGBR"), a U.S. based exploration company, focused on the acquisition and development of gold and other precious commodity projects, announced today results from the exploration initiative in the Rattlesnake Hills located in Natrona County, Wyoming. The Rattlesnake Hills initiative was a discovery program focused on the generation of new drill targets in the Eocene – age Rattlesnake Hills Volcanic Complex (RHVC). Big Bear properties cover geologic settings analogous to those hosting Au mineralization on the adjacent advanced program of Evolving Gold (EVG).

The Rattlesnake Hills land position consists of ten Federal lode mining claim blocks and two Wyoming State Leases totaling approximately 9,696 acres (14.4 square miles) covering the RHVC, Natrona County, Wyoming. The RHVC is comprised of approximately 40 shallow plutons of alkaline and subalkaline compositions intruded into Archean – age basement rocks. This volcanic/intrusive event is the heat and volatile source responsible for gold mineralization reported by EVG at North Stock, South Stock, Antelope Basin Flats and in deep porphyry hosted Au mineralization.

Our 2010 field program was completed over an abbreviated season from August through early November. The principal goal was to evaluate and possibly generate drill targets primarily on the DC, QL and BG claims. A secondary focus was to advance other claim groups from a geologic reconnaissance perspective. Detailed geologic evaluation and mapping was conducted by Dr. Charles Ferguson and Dr. Kent Ausburn, both highly experienced independent consultants, for the DC-MF-GP claims and the BG claims. Approximately 350 rock samples were collected primarily from the BG and DC claims. In addition, a soil sample grid of approximately 1240 samples was completed on the DC block and a Total Field Magnetics grid over the BG block.

CEO Steve Rix stated “The vast amount of work done by our geology team in such a short period of time is a real testament to their acumen and their commitment to our shareholders. The results that follow, suggest the basis for a robust plan for the 2011 campaign. Combined with significant gold intercepts by our neighbors Evolving Gold, we believe there is potential for significant precious metal discovery on our claims in Rattlesnake Hills.”

Results:

QL Project

The QL claims (2,035 acres) cover two regional faults, one of which is intruded by a quartz latite pluton lying adjacent to and immediately east of EVG claims. Reconnaissance mapping and in 2010 reconfirmed historic Cu +/Au occurrences hosted in sheared Archean metasediments along both fault zones. An initial four – hole drilling program was permitted but not completed due difficult late season access.

Dry Creek Project

The DC claims cover 798 acres immediately adjacent to claims held by Evolving Gold to the west and south encompassing part or all of five phonolite stocks, one trachyte stocks and several phonolite dikes intruded into Archean-age basement rocks. Principally covered by talus, alluvium, and Eocene – aged volcanosedimentary rocks concealing bead rock exposures of possible interest. The area is cut by primary east-west and northeasterly trending structures and is adjacent to the EVG claims where it is believed northeasterly trending structures intersect a diatreme breccia body at the North Stock ore body. Au mineralization on the EVG property is reported to be generally associated with Eocene-aged plutons including those of phonolite composition as at North Stock and South Stock and monzodioritic composition at Antelope Flats.

A 1:12,000 – scale geologic map was produced and 78 prospective rock samples collected. Fourteen (14) samples contained from 10 ppb to 45 ppb Au and four samples containing 119 ppb, 234 ppb, 452 ppb, and 1,125 ppb Au.

A soil sampling grid covering approximately 220 acres (1,283 samples) tested a topographic depression adjacent to two phonolite plutons. Less than 3 % of samples were considered anomalous ranging from 7 ppb Au to 47 ppb Au, and one containing 273 ppb Au. Big Bear geologists suggest excessive depth to bedrock may account for the small number of anomalous samples which generally were collected from areas of thinner overburden.
Four target areas covering mostly coincident Au in soil and Au in rock samples were identified for aggressive follow-up and drill testing in 2011. Two areas are located within much larger potassium anomalies as is typical of other alkaline gold systems. Target areas are believed to be associated with concealed faults or phonolite intrusive contacts.

Barlow Gap Project

The BG claims (1,517 acres) cover Eocene –aged quartz latite plutons and associated intrusive breccia bodies located in the southwestern Rattlesnake Hills volcanic field. Big Bear geologists recently completed 1:12,000 and 1:3,000 scale geologic maps recognizing two new intrusive breccia bodies (0.5 km. sq. and 3.0 km sq.) , several breccia dikes, and larger areas of quartz latite porphyry containing silicic, carbonate, and iron oxide alteration. Silicified quartz latite porphyry was mapped in a centrally located, east – trending zone measuring approximately 1,500 ft, – long and from 300 ft to 400 ft.- wide. Smaller zones of silicification are associated with the margins of both breccia bodies.

During the 2009-2010 geologic programs 184 rock samples (inclusive of 29 from Crescent Resources in 2009) were collected from prospective outcrops and occasionally from float. Ninety three (93) contained detectable Ag (>0.2 ppm Ag) from which 33 contained from 1.0 ppm to 7.7 ppm Ag and 9 contained from 9.8 ppm to 58.3 ppm Ag. Seven samples also contained from 20 ppb to 35ppb Au, and four contained from 63 ppb to 95 ppb Au. Most anomalous samples were collected from silicified quartz latite porphyry containing occasional mm-scale quartz veins, quartz breccia veins, and carbonate veining although a few were from carbonate altered breccia and sheared Archean gneiss.

An initial program consisting of five diamond core holes (3,500 ft.) was completed to test the potential for Au grades to increase with depth in silicified zones or in proximity to breccia pipe centers and to explore the potential for deeper Cu or Mo mineralization. Results are pending with anticipated reporting in late-February.

In summary, the Big Bear technical team is highly encouraged by the generation of widespread Au anomalies in soils and rocks from the DG claims in geologic settings similar to adjacent EVG mineralization and the widespread strong Ag anomalies associated with silicified structures, carbonate and Fe-oxide alteration and possibly the development of breccia pipes on the BG claims.

Big Bear Mining Corp, Provides Corporate Strategy and Update to Shareholders

Tempe, AZ – January 5, 2011 - Big Bear Mining Corp (OTCBB ticker: BGBR) (“The Company”) (“BGBR”), a U.S. based exploration company, focused on the acquisition and development of gold and other precious commodity projects, outlines corporate strategy and provides an update to shareholders in an open letter from Company CEO, Steven Rix.

Dear Shareholders,

As we enter the New Year, I felt it to be a good time to provide a recap of our accomplishments during the last six months and an overview of our corporate goals as we begin 2011.

Our goal at Big Bear Mining, first and foremost, is to enhance shareholder value. Our management team collectively holds approximately 40% of the shares outstanding. As a team, we are in this with you and see this as a long term commitment. We are very excited about the potential of the projects we are working on currently as well as future projects we are seeking to acquire. Our ultimate goal is to develop a portfolio of projects of the highest quality and technical standards that yield probability for future production. We intend to accomplish our stated goals by adhering to the strictest standards of environmental and corporate compliance.

Below is an outline of what we have accomplished the last six months:

Acquired 100% interest in 10 properties in Rattlesnake Hills, Natrona County Wyoming. The properties encompass 9,000 acres and 452 mineral claims in which are in close proximity to the Northstock and Antelope Basin gold discoveries by Evolving Gold.

Completed the first phase of geological surface evaluation on Red Lake claims in western Ontario.

Added two board members Mike Schifsky (extensive experience as CFO and consultant to publically traded companies including Air Gas and American Express) and Hank Konerko (former president of Phelps Dodge, a US based mining company which was acquired by Freeport McMoRan in 2007)

Reported first round of results in Red Lake including a number of high grade gold samples (17.2 Au g/t, 14.9 Au g/t, 12.6 Au g/t).

Developed plan for next phase of work to be conducted on Red Lake mining claims which we will announce by early second quarter.

Raised an additional half million dollars from an institutional investor at .25 cents per share.

Announced an interim CFO, Mike Schifsky to oversee the financial commitments associated with a multi-property drilling and exploration campaign for 2011 and assist in ongoing capital raising efforts.

Completed extensive surface work on select claim blocks in Rattlesnake Hills including mapping, soil samples, prospecting, and geo physics magnetometer. Over 1400 soil and rock samples were taken.

Completed an independent geologist 43101 compliant report on the Rattlesnake Hills.

Completed early stage drilling on Barlow Gap claims in Rattlesnake Hills with almost 4,000 feet and five holes.

As an emerging junior mining company it’s critical to be deliberate and patient in the process of setting the proper foundation. We see our milestones to date as a clear indicator that we do what we say we will do when we say we will do it. In that vein, we will continue to set goals that we believe we can achieve and by doing so we hope to increase our viability for investment from prospective investors.

Looking to 2011, we have an aggressive plan which we look forward to getting started on. Some of the highlights include:

Finalize acquisition of a third property for exploration – Q1

Develop and finalize exploration plan for all properties in our portfolio (Red Lake, Rattlesnake Hills, and property to be named) – Q1

Conduct geo-physics campaign on Sol D’or Mine and Shabu claims in Red Lake to determine drill targets – Q2

Conduct geo-physics campaign on predetermined drill targets in third property to verify drill targets – Q2

Continue drilling program started in Barlow Gap claims in Rattlesnake Hills – Q2

Commence drilling program in Dry Creek claims in Rattlesnake Hills – Q2

Commence drilling program on QL claims in Rattlesnake Hills – Q3

Initiate additional program, surface sampling, and geo physics on additional claim blocks in Rattlesnake Hills to identify additional drill targets for the 2012 exploration – Q3

Commence drilling program on property to be named – Q3

Release results from Rattlesnake Hills drill programs – Q4

Release results from Red Lake geo – physics program – Q4

We plan to meet each of our stated goals within the stated timeline. We understand shareholders will continue to measure us by our accountability and our ability to execute. As we show shareholders we are able to do both, we believe our value will increase. Thank you for your support and we look forward to providing additional updates on our progress in the future.

Sincerely,

Steven Rix
